The company operates by selling clothing online through its own website and through Matches Fashion, a London-based online clothing retailer. While pursuing a Master’s degree in sustainability management at Columbia's Earth Institute, Barboni Hallik officially launched Another Tomorrow in 2020. They and their team focused on sustainable and ethical development of apparels including raw material traceability to the farm level. She hired Jane Chung, a former creative director at DKNY and owner of Summa, an independent label, as Creative Director in June 2018. While on a sabbatical in 2018, intending to shift focus from emerging markets to sustainable finance, Barboni Hallik founded Another Tomorrow. Barboni Hallik is a former managing director at Morgan Stanley, who briefly left the financial industry to pursue a Master’s degree in green energy and environmental policy at Columbia University in 2007 before returning to Morgan Stanley. ![]() Another Tomorrow was started by Vanessa Barboni Hallik.
